The strike of the pilots flying Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. which will be assessed tomorrow will not happen if the management want to communicate and listen Garuda their aspirations. Because, until now, the management never bothered to sit and listen to the aspirations of the pilots who are members of the Garuda Pilots Association (APG) is.

This expression of seriousness of the pilots, this is not final. This is a warning only.
- Adnan quoted

APG lawyer, Adnan Buyung Nasution said the pilots actually do not intend to drop by the management, three issues that became complicated demands of the pilots. In recent years, APG want to pursue negotiations.

Unfortunately, continued Adnan, aspirations articulated by the APG was less responded positively by management. Therefore, the pilots strike seeked.

"This expression of seriousness of the pilots, this is not final. This is a warning only, hopefully with this strike, the management of his resolve these open issues. Because until now they do not respond well. There is an impression on the pilots of this , there is arrogance on their (the management), was successful, but must listen to the aspirations as well, "said Adnan Buyung a press conference at the Island Restaurant Two, Wednesday (07/27/2011).

Buyung was said had repeatedly contacted the Director of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Satar. Adnan admitted that he had asked for time to Emirsyah to directly listen to the aspirations of the representatives of APG. However, still not met.

"Initially I contacted, Mr Emir says will complete the internal first. There was a meeting Saturday but did not solve the problem and resumed Monday. Mr. Emir then even come up with the entire board of directors. Mr. Emir did not listen to old problems, but instead directly exposing the company's mission vision. Look course, I said listen dululah APG aspirations, "said Adnan Buyung.

As reported earlier, Captain Stephanus said Chairman APG APG has aspirations in a number of meetings with management but never responded positively. Nor negotiations to find out what is offered by the APG.

Even in the last meeting, Stephen said there were indications from management to divide the solidity of the pilots. APG was disappointed with the management of Garuda Indonesia management, related to human resources.

According to Stephanus, the problem of sticking with the emergence of policies that do not increase the number of aircraft followed by the addition of a sufficient number of pilots. To comply, the management of Garuda was recruited to fill those needs with the pilot and first officer (FOR) foreign.

Unfortunately, the pilot and first officer (FOR) local capture the discriminatory attitude of the management system related remuneration or income between pilots and FOs and pilots unfamiliar with the local FOR. As a result, a gap of unequal between the two assessed can have an impact on flight safety.

Moreover, the addition of the number of aircraft are also not matched by an adequate number of flights. Therefore, the impact on the schedules of the pilots and FOs are increasingly crowded. According to international aviation regulations, the excess could have an impact on the schedule of passenger safety.
